The heat wave has broken and temperatures are finally perfect for spending some time outside!  And this great weather comes just in time for the third annual Wabash Riverfest.

The Wabash Riverfest will be on Saturday, July 14th from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at Tapawingo Park.  Free parking will be available in the garage for anyone who wants to bring the family to the river for the day!

What is the Riverfest?  It is a family-oriented event on the banks of the Wabash, hosted by (and benefiting) the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation.  Not only will you learn about the Wabash River, water quality, and best practices for a healthy watershed, you’ll have a chance to participate in a 5K, listen to some great music, take the kids for a free pony ride, and soak up the scenery.
